Easy to follow fitting instructions.       

 

A copy of these instructions come with the Y anchor / Y-max 90

 

 

 

Q: How long does it take to fit the Y anchor?

A: When fitting the Y anchor into concrete

and using a stilth saw approximately 1 to 1 1/2 hours,

using a large diameter masonry bit ,bolster & mel approximately 2 to 2 1/2 hours.

this time is well spent for added security that the Y anchor provides. 

Once you have broken through the concrete surface

which is usualy only 2 - 4 inches in depth the rest

is just a case of digging out the earth and loose hard core

NOTE: When fitting the Y anchor into block paving

dig out more of the earth both in depth and width

to allow for a larger volume of the concrete fill mix.

This will give the Y anchor a stronger hold into the ground.  

    

 

 

Note: The Y anchor does have a drainage hole to allow rain to escape.

So when fitting outside, dry hardcore or Gravel should be placed at the

base of the dug out hole.
