A torque wrench or a tension wrench. shaped like a letter L , it is used to apply torsion to the inner cylinder of a lock, in order to hold any picked pins in place, while the other pins are shifted. The tension wrench is then used to turn the inner cylinder and open the lock.

 

 

                           

The PADLOCK SHIELD has a housing area of 83mm x 83mm. Designed to give the minimum accessibility. Allowing enough room for the operators hand to key the lock while making it as difficult as possible for the simultaneous use of lock picking tension wrench’s and lock Picks / lock picking guns. The PADLOCK SHIELD also reduces accessibility to the padlock shackle from bolt cutters, hack saws and sledge hammer attacks.
