Shed &Workshop security anchorage point

Motorcycles - Jetskis - Tractor mowers - Scooters - Workshop equipment
Other shed fitting security anchors are fitted to the inside of the shed and can easily be levered away from their fixings.
Unlike the rest our shed anchor is designed to fit on the outside with only the anchorage point facing into the shed through a square hole cut into the shed. The reason for this is that the whole anchor would have to be pulled through the shed floor or wall. And once the anchor has a security chain fed through and attached to a motorcycle etc it can't be pulled away in the opposite direction
Floor Wall

Floor or wall fitting
The shed anchor can be fitted to either the shed floor or wall.
Floor fitting gives maximum security to mobile objects such as Motorcycles, Ride on mowers, Jetskis etc.
When floor fitting is not practical for example, work shops where the anchor if fitted to the floor may cause an obstruction. Then the shed anchor can be fitted to the shed wall and is ideal security for expensive machinery such as Generators, Compressors, Lathes etc.
The offset design enables the anchor to fit close up to the adjacent wall / floor without compromising on surface area.
Fitting
Floor Fitting
A: From inside the shed mark out the hole in the desired position (you can see where the joists are situated by the nails that attach them to the floor)
B: Cut out the hole using a jigsaw (You may need to raise up the shed slightly for the blade to clear the ground)
C: Raise the shed enough to slide the shed anchor into position.
D: Lower the shed, bolts are not essential as once the anchor has a security chain fed through and attached to a motorcycle etc it can't be pulled out from the floor in either direction

Wall Fitting

A: From the inside mark out the hole in the desired position.
B: Cut out the hole using a jigsaw. Hold the shed anchor in position and drill out the holes for the fixing bolts.
